Joining an Event

You need an invite link

The organiser sends a private link — by email, SMS, or group chat. It looks like:

https://app.buxmate.com/join/XXXXXXXX

Only people with this link can access the event.

Join page

1. Open the link on your phone or computer
2. You see the event name, dates, location, and cover image
3. A greeting like Hi Dave (your first name)
4. Confirm or update:
   • Name
   • Email — optional at join if organiser did not have it; recommended for email updates
   • Phone — optional
5. Click Continue to event

You land on your guest hub — one page with everything for the event.

Already joined?

If you open the link again with the same browser, you may go straight to the guest hub without the form.

Invalid or expired link

You may see Invite not available if:

• The guest was archived
• The event ended and you never joined
• The invite link expired or was regenerated

Ask the organiser for a fresh link.

No Buxmate account

You do not sign up for Buxmate. A session cookie keeps you signed in to this event on your device.
